February 28, 2020 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm EST

$795

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Today’s business environment is globally connected. As a result, intelligence activities have grown beyond basic military and diplomatic objectives. In a world of foreign intelligence services, hostile nations and private collectors, everyone now targets both classified and unclassified information and technology across every sector. And while cyber threats grab headlines, traditional methods are still preferred by most collectors when targeting business travelers.

Ever since Luke Bencie published the book Among Enemies: Counter-Espionage for the Business Traveler, this follow-on course of the same name has been a favorite of savvy clients for nearly a decade. This one-day seminar is designed to educate those in your organization who may fall victim to espionage, whether knowingly or unknowingly.

This highly valuable course – which is taught be former intelligence officers and updated regularly to adjust to the latest espionage techniques – demonstrates just how vulnerable your employees and their intellectual property actually are while abroad, and the lengths to which competitors and foreign governments will got to undercut your organization. A small sample of topics covered includes:

  • Economic vs. Industrial Espionage
  • Foreign Intelligence Collection Methods
  • Recognizing Elicitation and Recruitment
  • Hotel and Transportation Security
  • Communications Security (COMSEC) Awareness
  • Data Attack and Intrusion
  • Surveillance Detection Techniques

This is the ideal course for organizations with international operations or employees who travel overseas.

The lessons learned in the Counter-Espionage for Business Travelers Course pay for themselves, possibly saving your company millions of dollars in terms of lost intellectual property, legal fees, and lost profit and market share.
